Our standard, swing band line-up includes vocals, a horn section and a a rhythm section of drums, keyboards and bass.

Our prices start from £800 for two 40 minute sets from the full band. We can provide extras such as a trio or quartet to greet guests and to accompany hor dourves, and can play your favourite dance tracks to keep folks on the dance floor all night. 
From background jazz with or without vocals to a swing band featuring ratpack and swing classics, Not Quite Jazz can create a sophisticated atmosphere for your function and really get the party started on the dance floor - all in the same evening!

So if you can't decide whether you want background music or party music - why not have both! A jazz quartet with cocktails and full band after dinner - our customers all tell us that you can't beat live music to make an evening!

We know that every occasion is different and you want to make it special to you. So we can tailor our format and the music we play to suit you. We have described our 'usual' formats here. But if you need something a little different please let us know. We can flex to meet most needs.



We can entertain you with a swinging selection of ratpack songs including such favourites as Fly Me To The Moon, That's Life, Sway, Come Fly With Me and Ain’t That a Kick In The Head.

We can get you up and dancing with our entertaining set of upbeat classics such as Mustang Sally, Route 66, Valerie and Hallelujah I Love Her So. Let us know in advance and we may be able to include your favourite song. 

Our swing line-up consists sax and brass plus rhythm and our superb male vocalist. It’s a fantastic sound that will really make your event swing.

For a laid back, sophisticated mood to accompany dinner or drinks, Not Quite Jazz can play jazz, swing and blues standards alongside more contemporary tunes that everyone will love. 

We can play as an instrumental trio (keyboards, bass and sax) with or without a singer - whatever suits you and your occassion best.
